The ASEM Business Law Clinic represents the culmination of a project aimed at strengthening practical experiences within university legal clinics. This initiative was developed as part of a broader program, the Criminal Justice Reform and Corruption Combat Program, implemented by ABA ROLI with financial support from the U.S. Department of State.<\/span><\/p>

Founded following the approval of an ambitious project proposed by a group of academic staff from ASEM's Faculty of General Economics and Law in September 2022, the clinic was officially recognized and registered as an NGO in June 2023. The clinic operates under the auspices of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, benefiting from logistical support provided by the university administration.<\/span><\/p>

\"To provide ASEM students in law and economics with a practical learning experience. By collaborating with professionals and academic staff, we aim to enhance students\u2019 skills in analysis, communication, and research. Through the legal clinic, we strive to deliver accessible and high-quality legal consultancy services, with a focus on business law as well as areas such as labor law, family law, housing law, inheritance, and other rights of vulnerable social groups.\"<\/span><\/p>

Mission<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The clinic's mission is to provide students with opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice while actively supporting the community by offering primary legal consultancy and promoting social justice. Guided by experienced legal experts, students develop essential skills such as analysis, communication, research, and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment.<\/span><\/p>

Objectives<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

  • Providing Legal Assistance: We offer personalized primary legal consultancy to young entrepreneurs and individuals or groups unable to afford lawyers or law firms. In doing so, we contribute to reducing inequalities in access to justice for vulnerable categories.<\/span><\/li>
  • Promoting Innovation: We encourage innovative approaches to solving legal and business challenges, helping beneficiaries innovate and adapt.<\/span><\/li>
  • Skill Development: Our mission is to develop legal and business competencies. We provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained in courses to real-life situations, enhancing skills such as case analysis, drafting legal documents, and client consultancy.<\/span><\/li>
  • Improving Understanding of Rights: Through consultancy, we educate the public about their legal rights and obligations.\n\nThe ASEM Business Law Clinic aspires to shape a new generation of professionals who are well-equipped to address the challenges of modern legal and business environments, while contributing to a fairer and more inclusive society.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
